TOYOTA GHANA COMMISSIONS TAKORADI BRANCH

On Thursday March 22, 2018 Toyota Ghana Company limited a subsidiary of Toyota Motor Corporation commissioned it new branch in Takoradi.

The new branch in Takoradi is the second in western region after the Tarkwa branch and the sixth in the country. It is located on the cape coast road adjacent Surfline office and opposite Ghana Highways Authority office.

Giving the keynote address at the occasion, Mr. TAKUYA KAJIURA, the MD of Toyota Ghana extended his greetings and appreciation to the guests present. Takoradi has always been sending requests to me for a branch to be opened here he said. He added that setting up a branch takes time, cost money and a good location.Mr. Kajiura on his closing remarks stated that they are glad to be closer to the people of Takoradi than ever.

After the MD, Mr. Patrick Okoto, head of maintenance at the Western regional office of Ghana Highways Authority attested to the comfort, reliability and comfort of Toyota vehicles among their fleet and is glad they are finally in Takoradi. He urged Toyota Ghana to move fast because Takoradi is fast expanding. He also added that customers should be given good service so that get a better customer experience.

As the final speaker, Mr. Cosmos Domfeh the branch manager of the Tarkwa and Takoradi branch said he is glad Toyota is finally in Takoradi. The Takoradi branch is a 2S facility i.e. it caters for sales of spare parts and sales of vehicles. For vehicle maintenance and service, Kwansah Motors Limited, a trusted affiliate and accredited service center of Toyota Ghana located at kokompe will take care of that. On their part, the general manager of Kwansah Motors, Mr. Nathaniel Kwansah promised the customers of the best of service as they have always been delivering.

The branch manager stressed on the point that customers will get the same experience in Takoradi with respect to spares and vehicle sales in Takoradi as in Accra and other branches. He later promised 1 year free service for 3 vehicles presently displayed in their showroom.

After the unveiling, the company held its first users conference for this year at Takoradi Raybow hotel. The user conference is a meeting between the end users and the Toyota team to discuss new developments, exchange ideas and address any problem the customers are facing. The theme for this year was “Toyota, your dependable partner within reach”. Present at the event was the MD Benso Oil palm plantation, manager of Ahantaman rural bank, MD of  Kwansah motors and a host of transport managers and fleet users.

The Toyota team comprising of the executive director DR Eric Darko, National sales manager Mr. Andy lamptey and other key managers of Toyota Ghana addressed various concerns of the users.

In a nutshell, they promised Takoradi that the brand is here to stay and will give customers the best of experience.
